Travco Holidays Partakes in 52 Weekends Festival

Driven by its new strategy of expanded reach and penetration to new segments of the local market, Travco Holidays, has embarked on an aggressive marketing campaign whereby presence in high profile events will be ensured throughout the coming months.

In turn Travco Holidays chose to sponsor the 52 Weekends Festival powered by IBA media, the publishers of the leading English speaking publications in Egypt, namely Egypt Today and Business Today. The one-day event took place in the Down Town Mall in Kattameya on the 12th April.

\r\n

The festival was a travel-themed event full of fun-filled activities for the entire family showcasing travel destinations inside and outside Egypt. One of the main objectives of the event was to invite attendees and readers of Egypt Today magazine to rediscover Egypt and its rich cultural history, from the musical traditions of the Canal Zone and the tantalizing sweets of Tanta to the herbal medicines of the mountain tribes and the palm-leaf crafts of the oases.

Travco Holidays alongside its sister company Jaz Hotels, Resorts and Cruises had a very strong presence and made a debut for its Spring/Summer Holiday packages amongst a high-end group of vacationers who attended the event in search of attractive offers.

\r\n

“Our participation in this and many more events to come is pretty much aligned with our new corporate, personal and strategic goals. I am pleased to take a more interactive role with our clients and offer them the latest packages and destinations as it allows us get consensus over the new products,” says Moataz Sedky, general manager outbound and domestic travel.

Plans are underway for more events and road shows in preparation for a busy summer season.
